PROHEART tablets are designed for the prevention of infection with heartworm. Effective against early immature stage of heartworm. Proheart tablets when used as directed, are safe to use in all dogs, including stud dogs and breeding bitches. Do not use in puppies under 4 weeks of age. Each pack contains 6 tablets, one tablet to be given monthly.

Proheart is a tablet used for the prevention of heartworm disease in dogs.
Do not use in puppies under 4 weeks of age. This medication should not be used in animals allergic to it.
Heartworm testing should be performed prior to the start of prevention therapy. Proheart prevents heartworm infections.
It is not a treatment for existing heartworm disease.

The side effects of Moxidectin are rare at the recommended dosage. Proheart has a wide margin of safety for all sizes and breeds of dogs including Collies. It is approved for use in puppies as young as 4 weeks, breeding bitches and stud dogs.
