Lufenuron, presents a biological solution to a biological problem: it is an ‘insect development inhibitor' (IDI) that works in the bloodstream and interrupts the life cycle of the flea to prevent the continuing reproduction of new generations.
Program Flea Killer comes in flavored tablets or a liquid suspension mixed in with your cat's wet food.
Dosage is dependant on the weight of the animal. It is to be administered once monthly, preferably on the same day of every month, and can continue either year-round or for the duration of flea season.
To ensure that the drug is fully absorbed, it should be given together with a meal. In multi-pet households, all of the animals must be treated in order for Program Flea Killer to be effective.
