Duogard

Pyriproxyfen is the most effective Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) available. In Duogard it provides 5 weeks control of the flea population, inhibiting the fleas development to the adult stage. Pyriproxyfen is extremely safe for pets, humans and the environment. It is a hormone analogue, not an insecticide. Contains a quick acting adulticidal active Permethrin kills adult fleas on contact, and will continue to kill and repel for 5 weeks. It takes less than 1 hour to reach maximal efficacy against adult fleas. Due to the immediate knockdown qualities of Permethrin it is particularly effective in Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) treatment. This rapid effect eliminates fleas before they have time to bite.
